Booking Terms & Conditions

Booking
1. On receipt of bookings, notification will be sent by BMS confirming the booking and how to transfer payment. Joining instructions will accompany this notification or follow afterwards, depending on timing of the booking and the scheduled course delivery.
2. Please note all registrants are liable for course fees at time of registration. Upon submission of registration you are obligated to the terms and conditions of our booking policy Payments
3. Payments can be made by cheque, through electronic bank transfer or selected credit/debit cards.
4. Payment must be received no later than 21 days before the start of the course. If a booking is made later than that time, payment must be made immediately.
5. Payment must be made in UK £ sterling for all published courses with the exception of courses where payment is required in other currencies.

Fees
6. All fees include tuition, lunch, morning and afternoon refreshments, course materials and visits.
7. Course fees do not include travel, accommodation or evening meals.

Taxes
8. Course fees are net of all taxes etc (that is, it does not include any form of taxes such as Government taxes, VAT, withholding tax and banking charges and/or bank commissions etc).

17.5% VAT will be charged on all UK courses fees to all companies and individuals in the UK and overseas. Where the supply is made to a foreign government in furtherance of its sovereign activity and evidence of this is provided, the fees for the training will be zero rated.

Discounts
9. We have great savings schemes to help both individuals and organisations continue their professional development and make their training budgets go further. Group Discount
10. Receive up to 10% discount for groups of 5 or more booking at the same time from the organisation Early Registration Discount
11. Receive up to 5% discount when registering 60 days or more before a course date

Cancellations and Transfers
12. Any cancellations/transfer must be received in writing (fax acceptable). The appropriate charge will apply base on the cost of your booking:

13. In place of cancellation, BMS may accept nomination of an alternate person to attend the course. Where an alternate delegate has been nominated, no refund or credit note will be issued.

Joining Instructions
14. Upon receipt of booking, a full set of joining instructions will be sent to the delegate. This includes:

  • Registration confirmation letter
  • Venue and contact details
  • Confirmation of accommodation reservations (if applicable)
  • Copy of the course programme Maps for the designated training venue
  • Advice on travel
  • Plus any other necessary information

Accommodation
15. Participants would be send lists of recommended hotels and guest houses, with preferential rates exclusive to our delegates. We can make the booking for you too if needed.

International Travel
16. Participants should make their own travel arrangements to, and from, the course Centre. We strongly advise all participants to make return reservations before leaving their country, as it may be difficult and more expensive to book homeward travel while in the UK.

Travel and Medical Insurance
17. We also advice that participants make their own travel and medical insurance arrangements before leaving their country.

Visa
18. Participants who need a visa in order to enter the UK are advised to obtain a visa from the British High Commission prior to entry into the UK. A letter of admission will be send to participants to use for visa application.

Programme
19. As all BMS training courses are regularly appraised and updated, the course description is intended as a guideline. BMS reserves the right to update course programmes in keeping with its policy for continual improvement and refinement.

It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of BMS Consultancy Ltd to change the content and timing of the course, the course leaders/ speakers, the date or the venue. In the unlikely event of the programme being cancelled, BMS Consultancy Ltd will automatically make a full refund but disclaim any further liability

Course Materials Usage
20. All materials made available to the Attendees as part of the Course are, and shall at all times remain, the intellectual property of BMS Consultancy Ltd and its Partners. BMS Consultancy Ltd and its Partners hereby grants the Attendee the non-exclusive right to use said materials in its normal business operations. Notwithstanding the foregoing, no rights are granted to the Attendee to copy, translate, adapt or use said materials for the purpose of providing training to third parties, including other employees of the Attendee’s company/organisation or any other person.

Data Protection Act
21. Personal information, as defined in the Data Protection Act 1998, will be used for administrative purposes, including analysis for management information purposes. This information may also be passed to third parties.
